Zacuto Coldshoe Lock

The Zacuto Coldshoe Lock is compatible with the Zacuto Half Cage Rail. It is used to lock your DSLR camera into place, screwing onto the Z-rail at the top of the Half Cage Rail with the help of two 5/32nd allen keys. To lock your camera into place, you slide the hotshoe of the camera onto the other end of the Coldshoe Lock. This way, when you are engaging with a follow focus, your camera will not rock and you will be able to stay focused on your project.
