The Lensbaby Movie Maker's Kit II is a kit that offers a variety of opportunities to be creative with your videos, that is packed in a custom Nanuk Case. The Composer Pro II sports a cinema-standard PL mount and this allows for direct compatibility with a vast array of professional video cameras. Alongside of this version is a Composer Pro II for Canon EF, a great choice for Canon's popular line of video-shooting DSLRs. The advantage of these lenses is their ability to accept any optic from Lensbaby's Optic Swap System, such as the Sweet 35, Sweet 50, Edge 50, and Edge 80 included here. The Sweet series offers a spot of selective focus which users can move around using the 15° of tilt provided by the Composer Pro II while the Edge series creates a thin slice of focus, providing a ton of possibilities for adding emphasis to your shots.

Composer Pro II with Sweet 50 Optic for PL

Draw more attention to your subject with a circular spot of focus surrounded by a beautifully blurred background by using the Lensbaby Composer Pro II with Sweet 50 Optic, available here with a PL mount. This updated tool is completely compatible with the established Optic Swap System and can use any of the numerous optics available. This version improves upon the original Pro model by featuring a metal body as well as an improved tilt function that ranges from 0-15° in any direction.

Bundled with it is the Sweet 50, which offers a normal perspective on full-frame cameras. This curved field optic differs from your standard lens by creating a spot of focus when tilted that can be manipulated in position by tilting the Composer and manipulated in size by manually changing the aperture from f/2.5 to 22. The optic also offers manual focus as close as 15" from your subject. Additionally, the Sweet 50 has a 46mm filter thread as well as an internal 12-blade diaphragm for extra smooth out-of-focus areas.

Sweet 35 Optic

Lensbaby's Sweet 35 Optic is a 35mm optic with a 12-blade diaphragm and adjustable aperture (f2.5-f/22) that gives you unprecedented precision control over the "sweet spot" of focus in your selective focus photos. This is the widest focal length of any Lensbaby selective focus optics--the Sweet 35 also has close-focus capabilities. It's part of the Lensbaby Optic Swap System. Use it with the Lensbaby Composer, Scout, Muse, or Control Freak lens body--just rotate the dial on the front of the optic to quickly change the size of your in-focus "sweet spot".

Characterized by its flat field design and distinct slice of focus, the Edge 35 Optic is a 35mm f/3.5 lens for the Lensbaby Optic Swap System. Designed for use with a tilting Lens Body, this optic's merits lie in its unique optical design that can render an overall sharp and clean effect or, when tilted, produce a dramatic area of focus surrounded by a smooth, blurred border. The aperture range helps to control the slice of focus and eight diaphragm blades contribute to a smooth bokeh quality to suit the selective focus look. Additionally, the lens construction uses nine elements in six groups, and each of the glass elements is multi-coated to resist flare and ghosting for contrast-rich, color-accurate images.
