The Glyph Technologies Atom RAID 4TB USB 3.1 Type-C External SSD (2 x 2TB, Silver) offers two 2TB SSDs which supply a total capacity of 4TB for your Mac or Windows systems. They are organized in a RAID 0 display, further improving the distribution of data up to 950 MB/s. For the Atom RAID to be able to support this enhanced performance, Glyph has equipped the device with a USB 3.1 Type-C port. This port is able to convey data at speeds up to 10 Gb/s, and the design is also compact and reversible.
The Atom RAID is preformatted for HFS+ with Journaling and compatible with Time Machine, letting it work right out of the box with a Mac. Reformatting is required for use with a Windows system. With a lightweight and rugged design, the Atom RAID is well suited for the rigors of daily travel. For compatibility with a wide range of USB products, Glyph includes a cable for directly connecting the Atom RAID to USB Type-C and Thunderbolt 3 systems along with a second cable that creates a connection with computers having a standard USB Type-A port.
