The Elinchrom ELB 500 TTL Li-Ion Battery is a removable provides 400 full-power flashes (or 28,000 minimum-power flashes) on a full charge. It has Active Charging capabilities that allow you to charge your battery during shooting when powered by an AC current. It is immune to partial charging and discharging because it has no memory effect. It also has a built-in Automatic Fault Detection System, which disconnects the battery if temperature, oltage, or current levels exceed safe ranges.
