The Benro GAC502PRO Aluminum Tiltable Center Column adapter enables you to extend the tripod's center column horizontally to a 90-degree angle or add a vertical extension. One end of the column is equipped with a 3/8"-16 male stud, compatible with the majority of tripod heads, while the other end features a groove for securing a sandbag or other forms of ballast. This allows you to hang an object at the end, improving the tripod's balance and stability.
The built-in quick release plate base of the Benro GAC502PRO Aluminum Tiltable Center Column is designed with and Arca-type mount that can be used with Arca-type tripod heads and other receivers. Two anti-slip safety screws are on the bottom of the plate to prevent accidental release. The bottom of the base plate also features additional 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 mounting points, allowing it to be mounted to a video quick release plate or a number of other options.
