Because of this, the Angenieux 30-72mm f/3.6 Optimo Anamorphic A2S Lens - PL Mount is able to offer exceptional sharpness and lower distortion over spherical lenses that are adapted for cinemascope production with rear anamorphic attachment. Furthermore, the design of this lens makes it extremely compact and lightweight.
