A: The Falcon Pro's MID code works great with new recorders, but the performance on older recorders would depend on whether individual users have downloaded the most current firmware. To ensure optimal performance and compatibility across a larger spectrum of recorders, FTI has licensed use of TDK, Mitsubishi (MKM) and Ricoh's MID codes. The Falcon Pro, CD-R, DVD-R and BD-R products use the TDK MID codes, the Falcon Pro DVD+R Dual Layer products use the Ricoh MID code and the CD and DVD DRL Gold products use the Mitsubishi (MKM) MID code.
Q: Does the Falcon Pro offer prosumer or B-stock product?
A: No. The Falcon Pro series of discs is designed to deliver performance, reliability and durability for professional applications.
