During stunts which can damage a lens, Schneider 4x4 Optical Flats protect expensive front elements and other filters while providing the truest image, free of unwanted color shifts. Made from Schneiderﾒs clear optical glass, these filters minimize or eliminate the need for laboratory color correction caused by filter variations.

Both the front and rear surfaces of these solid-glass (non-laminated) filters receive Schneiderﾒs hard anti-reflective (AR) coating, which measurably improves light transmission. Unlike other brands, Schneider optical flats are made from crystal-clear, water-white optical glass. Schneider optical flats fit professional matte boxes, and are available in Series 9, 4 1/2", 138mm, 4"x4", 4"x5.650" (Panavision size)5.650" x 5.650" and 6.6"x6.6".
