How do I enable my computer to accept cookies?
Enabling your computer to accept cookies will allow you to register in Polyline's site and access your account information. Internet Explorer 6.0 users have the ability to accept cookies from specific websites thus limiting their vulnerability. Follow these directions to enable cookies on your computer:
For Windows Vista:
Open Internet Explorer by clicking the Start button , and then clicking Internet Explorer.
Click the Tools button, and then click Internet Options.
Click the Privacy tab, and then move the slider to a position between the top and bottom so you are not blocking or allowing all cookies.
Click Sites.
In the Address of Web site section type in http://www.polylinecorp.com. Select the Allow button.
As you type, a list of webpages that you have already visited will be displayed. You can click an item in the list and it will be displayed in the Address of website box.
Repeat step 5 for each website you want to block or allow. When you are finished, click OK.
Click OK.
For Internet Explorer 7.0:
Start Internet Explorer
Go to Tools in your menu bar at the top of your browser window.
Select Internet Options.
Select the Privacy tab.
Click on the Sites button
At the Address of Web site: section type in http://www.polylinecorp.com Select the Allow button.
Click OK
For Internet Explorer 6.0:
Start Internet Explorer
Go to Tools in your menu bar at the top of your browser window.
Select Internet Options.
Select the Privacy tab.
Verify your privacy level is not set to Block All Cookies.
Go to the Web Sites section and select the Edit button.
At the Address of Web site section type in http://www.polylinecorp.com Select the Allow button.
Select the Apply button
Click OK.
For Internet Explorer 5.0:
Go to Tools in your menu bar at the top of your browser window.
Select Internet Options.
Select the Security tab.
Select the Custom Level button.
Go to the Cookies section and select Enable for cookies to be stored.
Click OK in both the Custom Level and Internet Options windows.
Then go back to the Polyline site and select Refresh on your browser.
For Internet Explorer 4.5:
Go to Edit in your menu bar at the top of your browser window.
Select Preferences.
Go the Receive Files section.
Select Cookies.
At the When Received option, select Never Ask.
Click OK.
Then go back to the Polyline site and select Refresh on your browser.
For Internet Explorer 3.0, 4.0:
Go to View in your menu bar at the top of your browser window.
Select Internet Options.
Select the Advanced tab.
Go to the Cookies sections and select Always Accept Cookies.
Click OK.
Then go back to the Polyline site and select Refresh on your browser.
For Netscape:
Go to Edit in your menu bar at the top of your browser window.
Select Preferences.
Select the Advanced option.
A new window will open with Cookies as one of the preferences.
Select Accept All Cookies.
Click OK.
Then go back to the Polyline site and select Refresh on your browser.
Netscape for MAC:
Go to Edit in your menu bar at the top of your browser window.
Select Preferences.
Go to the Advanced section.
Click Accept All Cookies.
Click OK.
Then go back to the Polyline site and select Refresh on your browser.
